If you'd like to submit an article you must first be approved as an author. Untamed Science is dedicated to having quality content on the site and that means we have to know who you are. Send a quick email to us on our contact form and let us know that you'd like to help create articles for the site. When we realize that you're not a machine (there seem to be a lot of those around these days), we'll upgrade your status and we can all improve the site together.
Once Approved
As an author there are several different types of articles you can submit via the Create Content link that should now appear in your right-hand navigation box. Here is a quck list.
Biodiversity Article: Choose this to link an article to a particlar species or taxonomic group within our biodiversity section. For instance, you may want to write an article about safe ways to observe sharks. The best place for that is probably tagged under the shark section of the site.
Biology Article: Choose this link if you'd like to submit an article within our biology portal. For instance, if you'd like to write about Forest Succession or Desert Biomes, you would do so through the Biology Article link.
Film Making Article: Choose this link if you want to share valuable filmmaking knowledge. This can come in any form but is likely to be a wildlife movie review or a how-to-filmmaking piece. A good example is our page on "How to build your own cable dolly."
Page: A page is the simplest type of page on Untamed Science. Pages are not automatically linked to anything on the site so you'll have to do this manually. If you have an article you'd like to write about your school, a field trip you've done, an interesting location or anything else that doesn't seem to fit into the othe categories, choose this type of article.
