Arachnids: Class Arachnida

Organisms in the class Arachnida are known as arachnids.  They are a group of non-insect arthropod invertebrates that contain over 100,000 species.  Some of the most common groups of arachnids include spiders, scorpions, ticks, mites, and whip-scorpions.
